What Pakistan Investment Advisor Covers

Most Pakistani investors are overwhelmed by choice — National Savings certificates, dozens of mutual funds, hundreds of stocks. Our tool cuts through the noise by comparing the most important options side by side, personalised to your budget.

🏦 National Savings Schemes (CDNS)

We track all major schemes offered by the Central Directorate of National Savings, including Special Savings Certificates, Defence Savings Certificates, Regular Income Certificates, and Bahbood Savings Certificates. Rates are sourced from savings.gov.pk and updated as CDNS publishes new profit rates.

📊 Mutual Funds (SECP-Regulated)

We cover the top-performing mutual funds in Pakistan, with a focus on both Islamic (Shariah-compliant) and conventional funds. Return data is sourced from MUFAP (Mutual Funds Association of Pakistan) and fund houses' official websites. We include 1-year, 3-year, and 5-year annualised returns to give you a complete picture.

📈 PSX Blue-Chip Stocks

We track the highest dividend-paying companies on the Pakistan Stock Exchange, sorted by dividend yield. Stock prices are updated daily from PSX data. We focus on KSE-100 companies with long track records of consistent dividend payments — the most suitable stocks for income-focused investors.

About the Author

AA
Abdul Ahad
Software developer · Builder of free, data-driven investing tools

I built Pakistan Investment Advisor to answer one simple question that no website would answer in one place: if I put a given amount into National Savings, mutual funds or PSX stocks today, what would each actually earn me? Even to compare two options I had to open five different sites, juggle date formats, and crunch the numbers by hand. Nothing did it all in one place, so I built the thing I wished existed.

This tool was my answer: one place, updated daily, that does the maths for you. I'm not a licensed financial advisor — this is an educational tool, not personalised financial advice. Always consult a SECP-registered advisor before making significant investment decisions.

If you find this useful, please share it with family and friends who are trying to grow their savings in Pakistan.

How This Site Gets Built (A Confession) 🤝

Full disclosure: Pakistan Investment Advisor is built by a two-member pair-programming team. One half is Abdul Ahad — a Pakistani software developer who got tired of there being no single tool for this, and who has the final say on everything that ships. The other half is Claude — an AI that writes fast, hedges every rate back to its official source, and holds strong opinions about em-dashes.

The division of labour, roughly:

AA
Abdul brings
The Pakistani context an AI keeps getting subtly wrong, the call on which numbers actually matter to an ordinary family, the chai breaks, and the final veto on anything that reads like a robot wrote it.
🤖
Claude brings
Tireless typing at 3am with no demand for tea, the patience to hedge every single rate back to its official source, and an enthusiasm for tables that occasionally has to be talked down. Does not, contrary to rumour, get to publish anything without Abdul reading it first.

The house rules of the pairing:

The serious bit: AI helps us ship more guides, faster, and keep them current — but a real person signs off on every word, and every figure is checked against its official source (savings.gov.pk, sbp.org.pk, fbr.gov.pk). The maths is double-checked; the judgement stays human.
